COMMUNITY MANAGER
ROLE OVERVIEW
The person every member of this community interacts with first.
The Community Manager acts as both the face of the organization and the internal HR for The Developer Community, ensuring a professional, structured, and engaging environment for all members. You are the first point of contact for new members, handling onboarding and representing the organization’s voice in all internal communications. Alongside this, you monitor interactions within the community, address concerns, and help maintain a collaborative and respectful culture among existing members. Working closely with the Head of Operations, you identify and resolve experience or engagement issues early, ensuring smooth communication and strong retention. A strong community retains serious contributors — you are responsible for building and sustaining that environment. You will receive a Community Manager title at an active technology company, credited contribution on every application we ship, and a verified certificate of community management experience built on a real and growing platform.
